I think Lucas should have made General Grevious be a cyber-Darth Maul. After Obi Wan slices him in two, he survives and Palpatine has his brain and heart transplanted into Grevious. It give the General a great backstory, and makes his and Obi Wans fight in RotS much more exciting.
