@digikrynary: Do you honestly do that a lot? I've never even had cause to do that. That was just AT&T's marketing gimmick to respond to Verizon's ad campaign about their 3G coverage and lack of multitasking. I guess if it's the only multitasking you can do, you might be tempted to use it just to make your ego feel

I'm so glad the Droid is vanilla Android. In my preliminary investigation leading up to buying the phone, this didn't even enter in. I knew of HTC Sense, but didn't want the Eris, which was the only HTC phone at the time on Verizon, due to it's limited hardware. So, I got the Droid. Luckily, it's stock Android.

I opened this article with every intention of at least reading it. It would cost me no money to do so, unlike GH:WT. But...I just can't even be bothered. Guitar Hero died when Activision kept the rights, but not the people behind it. They went on to make Rock Band, which is far superior, and doesn't make me try to

If I might be allowed to troll for a moment: You all made fun of me when I bought this game for Xbox 360. "It looks like shit." "It's far inferior." Or my favorite, "It doesn't belong on an Xbox, because Playstation had FF games first." Actually Nintendo did, idiot. Well, guess what. Ity was very playable on the

@Batty_K: If you really need that from your PAX experience, I'm sure both Seattle and Boston have an ample selection of strip joints, most likely within easy driving distance of the convention. Incidentally, what comic are you reading? Penny Arcade: violence and gore yes, porn no.

I've given up. The original games were a lot of fun, but they keep releasing handheld ones with weird game mechanics, and incomprehensible names. When KH3 IS ever annouced, wake me up.

It still probably clicks, you can't easily slide to reach orange, and it looks cheap and way too small. I'll keep my nice looking RB instruments.

@smber2c: That was actually kind of my point, thus where I said, "If you're saying this doesn't make sense ... that's because the whole concept is ridiculous." I don't in fact think most newspapers can survive by raising prices, and quite a few have tried. They need to evolve, or they won't survive in the long

Will the Apple to not Apple posts ratio on Gizmodo be more than 10:1 during the conference?

The lighter-to-USB adapter I have, is not bulky at all. It's a Belkin one that cost me about $13 at Walmart. It plugs into the lighter socket, and protrudes about an inch, and the diameter widens just a bit to accomodate two USB ports side by side on it; very compact and usable.

If newspapers need a tax driven subsidy, they should be taxed to pay for it. Put a 5% tax on the cover price of the newspapers and magazines that will recieve the subsidyI don't read newspapers anymore, because the internet has more comprehensive coverage on which I can comment, read backlogs, and get news that would

Google makes a competing mobile OS. This does not diminish their ability to make an excellent search engine or maps app. Steve is a smart guy, and as such, he knows that there's no point in competing with Google in search. That doesn't mean he can't change the default search option or, at least, offer alternatives.

@8aetroya8: A Windows PC costs roughly a 1/4 of the price of a Mac. You want to know why people flocked to Windows? Because they could afford it.

@syrstorm: The first one was okay, but really had nothing to do with the game franchise, and it was a very steep falloff from there. Apocolypse is right down there with the worst of them.

I enjoyed the heck out of this movie. I am a very jaded movie-goer when it comes to things based off VG's, but this one was a very pleasant surprise. The spirit of the game is alive and well, the story is passable, the ending is very appropriate to the game, and they managed to make the prince's acrobatic abilities

I liked it. That's all I'll say, unless you want to provoke my hatred of the haters, so to speak.
