I started a habit of, whenever a new Mr. Miracle comes out, I put it at the bottom of the pile, and start reading from #1 again. It was cute when we like four in, but now it’s just a massive anxiety attack as I built up to the next bombshell. It’s absolutely brilliant, is what I’m trying to say.

Yeah, IMO there’s Mister Miracle, and then it’s a long way down to 2nd place.

Yeeees Mister Miracle is a weird, wonderful, dark, impactful bunch of greatness. I thought it was going to simply be ok, as it was just recommended by one other person I know, but I couldn’t wait for the next issue to drop and question his mental state, existence, and how Big Barda still kicks ass

If continuing series started before this year count then I’d like to stump for Giant Days.

I’ve read a ton of Wolverine, as he kept popping up to interrupt the far more interesting arc Mr. Scott Summers enjoyed in the runs stretching from Morrison to Bendis.

Revenge of the Sith

I agree, we need to stop blaming him for the boring garbage that eventually reached theaters

As ridiculous as they were, the prequels had an imagination and sense of scale that made sure when clomes and ROTS came out I was really excited to return to the galaxy far far away. TFA couldn’t clear that very low bar. TLJ had a sense of ambition. TFA was a shitty greatest hits CD.

Hot take: The Watchmen 2009 movie is good and entertaining and one of the better comic book adaptations made in the past ten years.

hahaha lol you made up those names right

The best thing about this is it might lead to a new Tuck Buckford video.

Yeah, the ability to get YZ and The Slip on Vinyl... potentially in remastered forms, that’s something I am very excited for.

If half of what is out there about the business side of Channel Awesome is true, then Doug Walker is definitely an asshole. Doesn’t mean they don’t produce good videos though. Speaking as someone who works in education, assholes can do a lot of good for the world if properly channeled.

I am eagerly awaiting the Year Zero rerelease.

Yeah, It’s been a tad awkward to wear my Add Violence shirt that I got with the Physical Component, but it sounds like you and I both came up with NIN in the heyday of the US goth/industrial scene (the 90's). I’ve had probably a dozen NIN shirts in my life, and still have half of em.

Maynard can’t be blamed...they’ve always finished the music first, then he adds vocals after. I implore anyone who hasn’t heard Puscifer to give them a listen.

Ha! I too have it, again without a record player.

I picked up Fragile: Deviations 1 (and then dealt with the sheer absurdity of their supplier being unable to successfully ship an $80 record without troubling amounts of damage) when it went on sale, and like you do not have a record player. And I really want to get the Vinyl re-releases primarily to have the digital

No mention of Chvrches? They keep putting out little hints and not so little hints that the record is basically done. #CHV3 is going to be amazing. With Everything they touch being gold, add in Dave Stewart and Greg Kurstin, and man oh man... This is, IMHO, the glaring omission in your list.

Well, your original comment was genius and as the above commenter proved, you were definitely misunderstood. But where, I ask, was all the excitability? I give you a 66% comment/username synergy and mourn the days when everyone would have gotten the joke.
