Y’all would explode if you couldn’t somehow demonize the Clintons to cover up for how terrible y’all are, wouldn’t you?

One of the things I’ve noticed when ever pop culture sites write about comics is that a good percentage of everything they write is bullshit. They get plot details wrong, don’t give any context, and don’t do any research into the stories behind the creation of the books. they mostly just exist to point how dumb comics

Sure, some were, but then you have stuff like the best issues of The Sandman, The Invisibles, Preacher, Morrison’s Doom Patrol and Animal Man, Larry Hama’s Wolverine, JLA, “The Age of Apocalypse” storyline, Peter David’s Incredible Hulk, The Thunderbolts, Mark Waid’s The Flash and Captain America, Busiek and Perez’s Av

He’s only average in that he’s poor and has low self esteem. Otherwise, he’s a super smart dude who is good looking enough to marry a supermodel and he has super powers.

Two things-

It’s that subtext that makes me like the movie despite how full of holes and bad writing a lot of it is.

I think she’s a competent administrator who should have no say at all in the creative process. It’s weird, but the main line Star Wars movies have been lackluster (Episode VII was competent but it stole everything from A New Hope and Episode VIII, while not nearly as terrible as the haters like to make it out to be,

Top Ten, his novels, and I think that’s about it. Everything else someone else owns.

He only created homages when he couldn’t legally use the originals, so like Bond, Harry Potter and Voldemort, and Emma Peel. The rest are the characters from the books.

I haven’t watched it yet because I’d rather wait until it’s over and I can binge eight episodes a day.

Create homages? That seems like the easiest way and it has the added bonus of not steeping classic characters in Moore’s late work’s penchant for being basically pornographic for about 10 percent of the story.

I can answer that one: for one thing, he hates when other people expand upon his work while also writing something like The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which is just him using other people’s work. For another, he consistently talks shit about the medium that made him fabulously wealthy. Lots of creators get mad

I think, when it comes right down to it, Breaking Bad is overrated. Like, the acting is superb, but the story is so decompressed (possibly because of how many episodes per season AMC wanted, possibly because the writing team thought slow burn seasons would work best) that it moves way too slowly and the latter seasons

Seeing as how Marvel movies are mostly LCD pap that embrace spectacle over everything, epic is perfectly cromulent. It’s what they go for in trailers because it convinces people that cool shit is gonna happen and they should go watch it.

Granted, but once Disney cherry picks all the good modern stories for movies (they don’t really use any of the older stuff as inspiration very much, except for origins purposes and the Ant-Man and Guardians movies, but no one cares about Ant-Man and they gotrid of the guy who was pretty much single-handedly

Yes, because the most important thing in life to have a mass of people agree with you and all have the same opinion. A herd, if you will.

The real star is the painter who gave Brie Larson that tough expression on the poster. That’s a woman without a lot of range in her facial action.

Say what you will about DC Universe, but it’s way more than a streaming service, as it also allows you access to some of the greatest comics ever written and those decades old cartoons the article throws shade at in the first sentence are way better than anything in the MCU.

This is one of those things that bothers me to no end. People who only know the movies assume that Marvel is somehow superior in every way because their movies do better, but DC is superior in nearly everything else right now. The comic industry goes back and forth, but since the Disney buyout, Marvel has been on a

DC is only second in movies, dude. Ask most fans of both and they’ll rate DC higher in nearly everything else.
