It ain’t Darabont, but I’ll take it.

2007 Buzzfeed called and wants their lowest-possible effort listicle of shit everyone already knows back

“He said reload! he pointed the gun around! he should go to jail for murder!”

They’re also a popular snack for 1-2 year olds.

Cheerios only sell the most because they’re used for kids art projects, right?  Because holy crap they taste like the Great Depression when you eat them, I’d rather chew raw grains.

I have to question Fortnite though, with the additions they keep throwing out there, it genuinely feels like they are throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. Which is fine if they are validated, but that gets expensive fast. Granted, Riot will spend a decade+ on a game and still not release.

A restaurant that aims to be “high-end” wouldn’t offer a burger in the first place.

Yeah I’m seeing one of the reasons most restaurants don’t last long and/or don’t really turn a profit.

“So if you have $40 or $50 entrees and you have a $19 burger, and a third of the people get the burger, you’re losing a huge amount of money.”

You’re really back at this?

It makes sense when we recognize that we’re fully into our “blood from stones” capitalist era.

Fast food trying to screw the poor seems self defeating.

Well put it this way:  If his restaurant burns down when it’s packed the world is automatically a much better place.

There are two types of meat eaters out there: 1. boneheaded “carnivores” who take offense to the thought of a vegetable, and 2. people who are open to eating some meals without meat and have a balanced diet. There’s no way they’re getting people from group 1 to eat these much less spend their money on them. I consider

I’m so exhausted of late stage capitalism. When do we get to the part where we put CEOs and shareholders in a guillotine?

I think it will always have a niche, it’s just that it will be former meat eaters who are now vegetarian but pining for something they used to enjoy. That niche is never going to be very big. Otherwise people who eat meat will just eat meat unless it is identical in taste, texture, and price which is unlikely. If

Well yeah but you gotta admit you are in the very tiny minority of people who do that, most burgers that people eat are probably at least slightly more processed. I get mine from a butcher so yeah not very processed at all. A McD’s burger probably has a bit more stuff in it I would think, but that depends too: You can

Yeah I’m really more on the lab grown meat train myself.  Trying to make a plant based burger that will be an actual replacement for real meat is a fool’s game.  Growing real meat in labs without having to deal with everything involved in raising and slaughtering millions of animals is the way to go.

You clearly didn’t watch the movie he was robbed of an Oscar for, Hell Comes to Frogtown
