“Built at the most fundamental levels as a multiplayer game driven by scavenging, campsite crafting, and continuous scavenging, the game is still Fallout Online, and Steel Dawn doesn’t change that.”

Their definition of fiscal conservatism isn’t “don’t waste tax money” they are completely fine with that as long as there is a way to line their pockets in doing so. It’s “don’t spend tax money helping poor people.”
Team No One. Not one. No masks, no social distancing, that turtleneck, that TI-like monologue, the whole damn mixed message of the restaurant, annoying brunch twitter, and why would I want to watch someone with a heavy filter and a dizzy stars halo chewing with a mouf full of food?
You actually are demonstrably stupid. You even unironically called back to “thinking for myself”. Yeesh.
The worst type of person is the person who makes $40,000 in a day and convinces lots of people who don’t even make that in a year that they are each other’s enemies in order to keep them from banding together to demand a raise in the tax rate for the rich.

Funnily enough... I did not like the XBOX One when it launched and bought it after... around 3 years for a few COOP-Games, that a buddy and me liked to play. Now... how do I put it... even though I liked the exclusives and JRPGs on my PS4 more... I still bought and played more than double of that amount on the XBOX…
The problem is: using logics and facts against someone who believes in a flat earth or are a Republican Trumper misunderstands exactly why they believe what they do. It isn’t really just ignorance (though ignorance is very much a part of it), but it’s the need to feel special in an otherwise bland life. They want to…
You can’t mock the “idea” without mocking the people because so many of them are inseparable from the idea. If you try to mock racism in front of a trump supporter, they’ll take offense because they are racist. If you try to mock the irrationality of the flat earth theory in front of a flat earther, they’ll take…
Streaming is not a BC strategy.
This. ^^^
If this were a time before the internet I would have agreed with the reasons you laid out.
It’s only “unhelpful” in the sense that it won’t do any good to change these peoples minds. But then again, calmly and rationally explaining to them why they’re wrong is equally ineffective at changing these peoples minds. Because these people are ultimately uninterested in having their minds changed in the first…
Not from a hardware perspective, no.
“First and foremost, let’s make sure we’re all on the same page. Mocking people for believing in FET is cruel and unhelpful. Mocking FET itself is necessary and enjoyable.”
We absolutely should mock the hell out of people who believe in fake science. They should be ashamed of it because it’s a shameful commitment to ignorance. Screw this live and let live attitude about anti-intellectualism.
I think he’s talking about code architecture, not hardware. The PS5 and Series X have different operating systems.
It seems pretty easy to understand why. The Series X is basically a small form factor PC. The code already exists. The PS5, I’m assuming takes a little more effort to work with the internal architecture.
