That NASCAR flew the Confederate flag doesn’t surprise me. That the goddamned Navy (and other branches) was allowing the flag of racism (and traitors to the country) to be displayed did.

Did Bolton’s book ever come out? I thought it was supposed to be out a while ago, but never heard anything again after the impeachment trial.

But they may very well cover for them if they are drunk on the job. There have been enough doctors caught drunk on the job that it’s hard to believe that they all get caught when it happens.

Fundamentally, I agree with Fuck the Police. I am absolutely, 100% behind you on that. They are well beyond any other profession in terms of fucking over people.

If they want to make it relevant again, they should make Duke the bad guy. He’s a relic of a different time who goes off the rails and starts killing people, thinking he’s doing the right thing. The player is cleaning up his mess and eventually takes him down. You can have cut scenes that show him doing his thing, and

Well, you got me here. I’m trying to read other articles, and my eye keeps being caught by the videos playing on the side. It was the look that, with no context, seemed like panic while frying the eggs that made me decide I had to see the video.

I’d just like to throw out there that I’d much rather pay $80 and have a solo campaign to play than $40 for just multiplayer. I know multiplayer is the way video games are going, but I am never going to have the time to play enough to get good enough to make multiplayer fun.

OK, check your toilet paper if you were one of the ones who didn’t get a lot when it first hit. If you are one of the people that bought enough tp to last two years, though, you’re good, don’t go on another shopping spree.

OK, at a quick glance I just thought that was Luke. I’ve seen enough drawings of Luke that don’t look much like him that I’m conditioned to see him in that helmet. I mean, once I looked closely it’s not his helmet so it’s not him, but I wouldn’t be so bold as to firmly say it’s a woman.

OK, but I was talking about the cinnamon croissants that are linked to in the article. The link has a picture of them, and they are small and in a bowl of milk. While I can’t see that they are crunchy, the text on the side claims they are.

I’m late to this trend - what’s with the pat (cube? stick?) of butter in the middle of these. I guess I can see it for pancake cereal, but cinnamon rolls?

Absolutely. This was not on my RADAR at all before reading this article.

First, I must say that I laughed a little extra when I realized that the article was by Andrew Wang. My head canon is that when they needed someone to do the story, they said, “well, we have to get Wang on this, right?”

One way to do that is to decree that the console goes to whomever has used it more, based on pure hour count.

They also left out that when one - and only one - officer stopped to help, he was pulled away by another cop who had “PL1" on the back of his helmet. So they had one person who had the instinct to help, and another cop shut that shit down, quick.

I’ve liked Boyega since I first saw him in Attack the Block (he was a bit wasted in the last two Star Wars movies). I like him more every time I read something about him.

I liked the original game. I’d buy this one if THQ Nordic agreed to at least pay the final paychecks owed to the people who made it. I know they have no obligation to do so, but it would be nice to see it, and a relatively inexpensive PR move.

Need to start arresting people for making calls like this.

Culvers is pretty good - we have several here in Utah, and it’s a regular in our lunch rotation. Always have to get a custard from them.

I live in Utah, one of the places that lists Mod as their favorite fast food. I have eaten there a number of times.
