Might I suggest that we should not leave wounds open where this can be a problem? If you have an open wound, clean it and bandage it so that you don’t have a vector for bacteria to get in there, whether from a dogs tongue or anything else you might contact.

The name is what it is. If people think it is the same thing as a beef tenderloin, I don’t know what to say. I certainly know it isn’t the same thing - it’s a piece of the breast meat that doesn’t get worked, so remains more tender and juicy when cooked.

I was just more thinking chicken in general, rather than specifically in nugget form. I’m pretty much not a fan of nuggets - chicken tenders made from a whole tenderloin, absolutely, but a nugget is not my thing.
