I agree about the machine bit. When Walter said that he built it and was fated to do so, but Peter could change the future, it rankled me. All I could think about was Kirk's reading glasses and the paradox of them.

After looking at this chart, maybe we should be alone in the universe.
Two things that irritated me about an otherwise fine episode:
Re: #6
Huh... I guess I'm one of those weirdos that enjoyed the heck out of Knowing. I liked that it didn't try to have any solution to the end of the world and just rolled with it. Aliens? Hey, sure, why not? And the plane crash sequence was really well done.
I know why he's pissed - he has to show his, uh, opticles to John Turturro.
Not only is he a great genre actor, he's a sweetheart of a guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a con a little while back and I talked with him for quite some time. Very friendly, very gracious, and very charming. And then he remembered me a day later, which is pretty impressive at a con. I've got a total man…
I guess there is still that nightmare of the hiatus and later cancellation that still haunts some.
As an American, I loved the episode and I have to say that I was thrilled that it brown nosed me a bit. I wouldn't want that to happen in every episode from now on, but it seemed like the show was finally acknowledging that there are a lot of us over here who do love the show.
You're right, especially about the conditioning.
Typical. I start watching a show and its ratings go down the toilet, putting it on the bubble. Not that I have any idea if Dr. Who is on the bubble or not; 6.4 still seems like a high percentage. I also have to wonder if this was the highest rated Dr. Who in the US since it seems like it was so aggressively marketed…
Good point. That silence stuff did seem like it was kind of dropped. And I swore I heard Davros' voice saying it when I watched it night before last.
I thought the cracks in the wall were caused by the TARDIS exploding an ripping apart time and space.
The Tate is a lie?
I have to admit, I'm a hair more excited for Game of Thrones, but that's only because Comcast doesn't carry BBCHD. Barstards.
Huh, looks...... bouncy.
I concur with almost everything said above. I have to admit, I got choked up when Fauxlivia died. There's no reason they couldn't kill her off, since it could be argued Peter's already chosen which Olivia he'll be with. He had a baby with her; unintentionally, but prophecies don't care about that (or rather, they can…
I probably would have done four body bags. I mean, that radiation can't be good for a person, mutant or not.
