I have to say, I kind of agree. I mean, I still feel like the writing for the episode was good, and everyone did their parts well. But when Bellivia was talking about the end about coicidence and souls and whatnot, it bothered me because its so squishy. Most of the time, on Fringe, they do try to come up with some

Gods, but I hope and pray the TV series ends with Martin and Tyrion dancing.

I don't believe we're to blame for 99% of species extinctions because this mass extinction hasn't yet occurred. Could we be responsible for one some day? Sure. Could we stop it? I don't see why not. It's just a matter of balance. I don't have the answers as to how, but then again, I'm not paid to.

Again, the issue isn't about a species or two dying out; it's about a mass extinction (the largest of which was about 99% of all species). I'm not certain there's an appreciation for what happens when there is a mass extinction.

Hmm, that's a local problem. I should have said "global collapse of the food chain," as that is what mass extinctions involve. There's a difference between what you're talking about and allowing a mass extinction to occur.

I'm not sure I follow your logic here. There is quantifiable fallout from allowing extinctions to happen. I gave examples above. We can see what happens when mass extinctions happen by looking at the geological record. The percentage of species that die out is often quite high, regardless of the cause of the

Hang on... the title is misleading. I came here for the information on hangovers; that's the most important thing. Yet there's nary a mention of it in the article. Come on people! Get your priorities straight!

I'm a little surprised by some of the responses here, such as "Well, extinctions are natural." Sure, extinctions do occur, but the thing is that there's a lot of fallout from them. It's not just the species that are endangered right now that will go extinct; its any other species that rely on them in any way, be it

Except there has been no cooling trend. The trend has been steadily getting warmer. It is still called "global warming," but the reason many prefer "climate change" is due to the face that the warming of the climate isn't something you'd notice in any single given day. Many on both sides of the spectrum took "global

I have to say, I'm not entirely certain I buy nobody remembering what happened 26 years ago. Granted, my memory is a little hazy at that point, but there are some things that I do remember.

On Your Knees Cave... isn't that where Jack Hoffman is looking for that glory hole?

Two things:

I'm in.

Never mind the Star Trek and Firefly nods; that guy rocked the Reading Rainbow theme. But you don't have to take my word for it.

"Well, obviously that chemtrail conspiracy is nonsense because the earth is only 6000 years old!"

By the power of Greyskull, I HAVE THE POWER!!! to be redundant.

Huh.. Zak Snyder's already screwing up the Superman movie? Imagine that.

You know the reason it never worked? No pottery wheel.

I don't think I'll be watching this. The description sounds awful, but it might not be depending on how the finished product turns out. Mostly, though, it just doesn't sound very interesting to me. The show just sounds so... standard and banal. I feel like I've already watched it. Of course, Kelley does always just
