@beefmalone: I think you answered your own criticism about "scariest" vs. "best" when you pointed out that years separate these two articles. I don't see why one would cherry pick semantics between the two and act indignant. It's an arbitrary distinction, unless you think some dystopias are good, in which case I would

All you need is a name tag.

I'm heart-broken that we're not getting a second season, but I'm not surprised. However, why move the remaining episodes to next year? Syfy has always done things very erratically, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. I mean, they got to make room for wrestling.

And what, pray tell, is the scientific explanation for El Chupa Nibre?

@TheGreenMan: Gotcha. Wasn't trying to imply people are idiots. Just expressing my bemusement.

@Nivenus: Hmm... well, I probably meant the former.

Maybe they should just meld the two together. Who wouldn't want to watch Battlegate? Or Starstar?

I love, love, love this book. Oh, and for those of you who aren't familiar with the story, just replace the "zombies" in 28 Days Later with man-eating plants and you have the story, almost plot point for plot point. 28 Days still irks the hell out of me for doing that.

@TheGreenMan: The one that isn't illegal? Without any data on what books are the most pirated or any data on libraries, I can't really make any sort of conclusion. And you're poisoning the well in your example, listing every possible negative thing so that I would agree with you. I'm just sayin' that free books are

Is it me or is book piracy the weirdest thing to come from the internet? I mean, there is a way to get books for free - it's called "the library."

I really enjoyed this episode. The only problem I had was that Zoe and Tamara didn't just go crazy during the fight and start making out. Still, last night was the first time I felt I saw a Cylon. Zoe (or Faux-e?) had the angel and then talked about how she had a "purpose." It feels like they're starting to dovetail

I do love me some "found footage" movies. And this one was sounding awesome until I saw Akiva Goldsman's name. At least he's only producing. Still, prepare for them to find a giant CGI space monkey.

@Lex Steers: Teens can still go to R-rated movies. Plenty of theaters still don't care. It's not like it's illegal or anything. There's also the time-honored tradition of sneaking into the movie by buying a ticket for something else, like Care Bears. Granted, it doesn't add anything to the movie's gross, but it is fun

@ghostofoldtrafford: Ya know, I can never figure out the MPAA. Maybe it'd be R, it probably would be, but they often do weird, irrational, and surprising things, especially for big budget films.

@Alessar: Is there a way for a heterosexual male to *not* see boobs in a sexualized way? When I was 13, I would pause Just One of the Guys for seconds on end whilst I... acted like one of the guys.

Ya know, they might have a point about the original movies being PG-13. Movies rated that are a lot more hardcore than they were when the rating originally came out, at least in terms of violence and language. Granted, old PG-13 movies could show boobs. That needs to come back.

I think he should play the Penguin. I'd love to see a bad-ass take on Cobblepot, if that's even doable.

A reboot of the character to finally make him dark and gritty. Like Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer. I'm tired of this campy take Nolan does.

"They do it using Sean's "hacker powers" which involve mentioning backdoors, which is the only hacker thing that Hollywood knows about."
