Are these really comparable? One is something new. The other is something established and necessary to advance.
@TheSkilletFan: Yes, I know, that's what I was saying. "There are so many firecrackers, straight fire is erupting from them."
@Krackatoa was hit by a smooth criminal: But DotA is a point-and-click RPG. Really, I mean that's the epitome of a logical fallacy.
@xsbs: Protip: maybe you're wrong and everyone else is right. For once, I know, but just maybe.
So is this guy just bad or do most people just never hit anything?
@iatw: DotA? Defense of the Ancients? This isn't anything like that...
@JabbaB: You'd think with all the work he puts into that mohawk he could easily do a little manscaping.
I already know what they think.
@zenneth: My point was that simply slapping on IR emitters and receivers would be easy, but the live feed would be exponentially more difficult.
@tehsquish: It was an update to bring the Source engine into CS. They reproduced the same game in a different processing and rendering environment.
@ThePaul: Well, I suppose designers aren't known for the...practicality of their designs.
@Aeros: No, it's quite alright, I wasn't offended. I just have a hard time believing you've never died in an RPG game. Frankly, if you aren't dying you aren't playing the game right. Obviously you aren't supposed to die all the time, but the game is supposed to be difficult in parts. Having no problems with death…
@Shizzyraw: Hey, hey, it was a joke. No offense was meant, I just thought it was funny.
@foolish-rain: Did I win a prize?
Wait...the Usenet kids thought their club was still a secret? I mean, everyone knew about it, they just didn't join cause it sucked.
@The Squid: And as for the live feed?
I've got a visual on a hostile UAV!
The basement is really cool. I'm not a fan of the borderless pool look or the roof garden, though.
