There is a great mod that breaks the “tether” the alien has to you, allowing it to move much further away. (When it comes closer, it will still hear/see you as normal) It makes it much more realistic.

Everything Terminator is good to varying degrees... people just have a hard time accepting that Terminator stuff will never be as good as 1 & 2.
