“I’m going to share the shit out of it.”

I think this is the hardest thing for people to grasp. If your bone is broken, everyone sees the problem. If your brain is calibrated wrong (or even just differently), then no one really recognizes it.

I think the normalization thing is so important. Part of the issue I had with my anxiety was that I didn’t know it was possible to feel another way. Sure, I couldn’t “calm down” on command, but I also didn’t really know what “calm” was. Of course I got twitchy when I had to sit still. I wasn’t used to it.

Yeah, America doesn’t tolerate shit like wearing a shirt of your choice while sitting somewhere of your choice. That’s not what freedom is about!

Seriously, you are part of the problem. Don’t reproduce.

He was sitting with his GF who goes to the rival school. That seems completely excusable to me. Also, what kind of coach has the time to give a shit about something as trifling as where some JV player sits? These guys coach high school, but it sounds like they never graduated mentally.

Counterpoint. Go Fuck Yourself.

Please, tell me, what is a proportionate response if someone tackled a person to the ground and then proceeded to attack him again while lying down on the streets of your average city? I don’t care if someone said your mother was a whore, attacking someone like that over WORDS is not something you just go “oh, kids

Yeah, and any sane person would shake it off and/or verbally attack back. Physical violence as a response is completely disproportinate. Even more so when there’s two against one and from behind.

This is exactly the defense I was expecting to see pop up to this.

Even if what you say is true, it doesn’t justify those two cowards hitting a man from behind and while he was on the ground. I hope they both go to jail.

There is no reason for that animalistic behavior. Your “teammates” have disgraced your program on a national stage. You all should be ashamed. Do you really think anyone will believe what you say after you behave like that? File a complaint. Don’t assault someone. Especially in such a cowardly manner. And it was

And you just advanced the notion that your friends’ assault on the ref was premeditated — a planned, retaliatory act of violence.

Oh, honey. If you’re an attacker, your lawyer wishes you didn’t write that. If you’re an attacker’s buddy, they might be kicking your ass next for your big mouth. On the upside, the ref’s lawyer is over the moon.

Let’s assume for a moment you are who you say you are.
Let’s also assume your allegation against the ref is true.
The reaction of your teammates was still wholly incorrect and illegal. There are many, many ways that you and your team could have and should have reacted. Did you tell your coach? Did you tell your

Even if you are who you say you are, it doesn’t matter what the ref said. You’re an idiot to think that it justifies anything like that reaction. That pretty much tells us all we need to know about your garbage football program and garbage school. Shut the season down. The sports world is better off without you and

hopefully they shut down your season ...

But did you see what the ref was wearing? TOTALLY ASKING FOR IT.

Yes, that’s a tort. (Says the lawyer who has only done administrative banking law for the past 20 years).

My gut reaction was I can’t believe a coach would ever instruct high school kids to do this. However, upon further review, I sadly can believe that.

One kid going out of his way to ambush an official is one thing. Two of them doing at once tells me this was ordered from the sidelines. If that’s true, end their season right now and fire the staff.
