It's spelled differently, see:

I'm going to patent shapes. Not any particular shape, just "shapes". If anyone produces anything that resembles a shape, I want my cut.

I'm just speaking from my own experience; and yes, I believe any defense of the prequels can only be a halfhearted one at best.

I'm reading more of this article, and yes, there's many valid points; however, many of them are still very conditionally correct statements, and much of it still is incorrect when you take into account that some people's preferences cannot be changed through use of math.

Okay, so is there a newer build of Windows 8 with a different start menu then? Because without flipping that "RPEnabled" reg key to 0, that "charms menu", as you called it, is all you get in the dev. preview build that was released.

I'm fine with minimalism, but it should never get in the way of functionality (and therefore efficiency). This start menu (if the image link works) removes functionality by doing away with shut down/logoff options (<- this is a huge mistake), a link to the actual control panel (there shoudn't even be two versions of

Oh, wait a minute, you and Microsoft are right. Me and many others don't hate the Metro UI and find it completely unnecessary and hideous. Damn, I thought I for sure I knew that I hated it, but you've dispelled that notion.

Meh, /b tag fail.

Look, I said it was a matter of opinion, and mine is that the Metro UI looks and functions like ass. I have no other argument for you to pick apart other than:

You've got to keep in mind where you're at. Most of the people you see gushing about Windows 8 have been waiting for all OS's to work just like a Mac for years.

Call me troll all you like; if Microsoft actually has the gall to release Windows 8 with only the Metro UI (which they won't have the gall, nay, the insanity) *it will crash and burn*.

"You know that windows 8 also have a classic, windows 7 interface mode, right?"

"I probably misunderstood something."

I could sit here and draw up a list of why genocide would quite objectively fix problems like overpopulation and world hunger, but that doesn't make genocide a good thing. Microsoft telling me (and everyone) that I like something just because they feel that it does a better job of things doesn't make it true.

1) Make mandatory software install and run in the background with your much sought after game.

Okay, either one of two things is happening here:

Here's the thing about the Metro UI...

Well, like I said, haven't been reading comics in years; when I did, I read mostly Marvel (or Dark Horse) anyway. Still, the blame for this one definitely lies with DC, not B&N.
