It's very simple: money and affluence are the thing that mean you don't have to be human anymore. Most people choose to remain human, but Trump left the human race decades ago. If anything, it's a testament to his restraint that he hasn't just started whacking people with sledgehammers yet.

I saw them do this with "West Side Story" in Pittsburgh- the PSO played to the movie. Don't recall if they had live singers or the voices on the soundtrack.

When I was in undergrad, my playwriting professor said there were only a handful of works so well-structured you could learn something just by watching or reading them, and "Jaws" was one of them.
She had been lobbying for years to stage the screenplay to "Jaws" as a play, but kept being turned down. Strange thing is,

So are we implying that Bruce "Batman" Wayne ISN'T on the spectrum? That seems like a bigger logical leap than anything in this film.

But where's David Duchovny?

I've been on a reading challenge to, in addition to putting away at least 60 novels, read the complete works of Shakespeare in 2016. When I read his early histories, Joan of Arc's treatment puzzled me, as she was portrayed as… well, for lack of a better word, as a slutty witch.
Then I looked her up and realized that

No End House is being adapted next year, I believe.

My suspicion is that, following the recent trend, there will be no singing proper in the movie except in a diegetic setting where singing would be logical, but the soundtrack (and end credits) will likely include an interesting collaboration on a few of the classic songs. Look forward to hearing Ariana Grande sing

They already made a Miles Davis crime thriller.

I wonder if that change was made in deference to the Chinese market in the first place, where the Mongols are probably not a group you'd use as "generic default baddies" as much as the Huns are.

"Donkey, you fucking cock, pass the onions."

It's an inconvenient lifestyle choice.

Surely there's a surface in front of you right now that's harder than your skull. All you need is determination!

I know it's become something of a cliché that I bring up the theatre world everywhere, but the Studio 54 Theatre (a fantastic, intimate Broadway theatre built on half of the old Studio 54 nightclub; the other half is supper club and music venue Feinstein's 54 Below) just staged the musical version of "The Shop Around

Can you imagine a Jackie Chan directed "Mulan" in the action/comedy/drama whiplash mode of his classic era films?

Yeah, the Clue musical is a huge misfire in every possible way. I almost wish this were a musical with a David Yazbek or Marc Shaiman score, but maybe it works better as a play.

Was the lost "Everyone dies" ending ever filmed?

Working with theatre kids, "Joseph Smit: American Moses" has become the 2010s equivalent of "La Vie Boheme," a shibboleth theatre kids chant without necessarily knowing exactly what it's signifying or parodying.

In all seriosity (not a word but should be), I'd bet on seeing Ronald in the Macy's Day Parade, as Ronald's balloon and the Red Shoe Mobile are iconic parts of the procession, representing both the fast food brand and the Ronald McDonald House charity. I doubt they'd pull those even if they pulled everything else.

"A Clockwork Hipster."
