I think i bought something for this at some point... I dont even remember. With all the changes in scope, i wonder what my money from back then even gets me. 

They could be.. I was young when i played Commandos and a lot of missions ended up with me around a corner just killing everything as the alarms got triggered :P

Ehhh.. you make it sound like its easy. There are a metric ton of people trying to stream and most get stuck with sub10 viewers. Some of them quite entertaining, some very good at what they do. The competition at this point is brutal.

That’s not what is happening though. They bought this “book” , read it through a couple of times already.. and to still get more enjoyment out of it, they start to rip out chapters and folding paper airplanes (wait, wut?)

It’s fine to have an opinion. But please understand that what you feel is an ‘empty accomplishment’ does not really matter. I am still trying to wrap my head around why people cant understand some people like things others dont.

I still find the name “Jump scare” to be missleading. I am not scared when i jump because of said “jump scare”. I can get the same reaction when i walk to a door to open it and as i grab the handle it starts flying for my face. And still you accomplish nothing of note when you are done with the game, when you play it as intended. That is kinda how hobbies work. They “waste” your time, and you have fun while doing so. I can quite confidently assure you that speedrunners still have fun while doing it, so i dont see the wasted time.

In some games, sure.. But there are not that many games, i feel, that restrict me as i am getting “older” (only 33 atm). I am 100% certain i will destroy the average 7 year old, even in mario kart that i havent played in years. Some people are just better at games than others..

I`ll take DA2 over the inquisition any day. DA2 wasnt perfect, but DA:I just felt really shitty to me. The difficulty was all over the place and it felt way more fetchquesty than the previous ones (wasnt sure this was possible)

I’m glad i dont have this problem. I would have to quit my job if i want to play all the games i paid good money for. Sure, i got a couple 100 from bundles and sales.. But also over a 100 games i paid a good price form. But i get destracted easely , and sometimes my mood shifts completely.

My real question there would be... Why would so many people want to look at that dude.. But i guess opinions are.. just that :p

in a game sense i find it hard to compare braid to journey.

While certain aspects of EQ really didnt bring the fun (like the boat rides) it did do something for me that no other game has done since. It gave me a feeling of being in a huge world.
