Who? Me?

Are they filming through a glass door? If so, the owl is most likely checking out the weird, rude owl that won't get out of his fucking way.

The true horror of this encounter is that the idiot human videoed in portrait mode.

When he's unwittingly drugged into an honest confession.

Did you read the NYT article in full, or just these small pieces from it? You might find it takes on a different tone if you read it all. It's a lot more clear that this isn't a "me me me" thing in the slightest, or at least that's my opinion. I'm very much behind evidence-based medicine too but I'm very impressed

This just makes me think of that scene in Erin Brockovich when the redhead from CSI says, "If you have no breasts, no ovaries, and no uterus, are you still a woman?" and Julie Roberts says, "A much happier woman" or something to that effect.

Going through such drastic bodily changes has to be such an enormous challenge.

I know she did some iffy stuff when she was young, but damn if she didn't grow up to be an amazing and inspiring woman.

I am in no way shape or form a sexist

If you think representation isn't a big deal, watch how white men act when women and/or POC get to be the hero of a story for once.

Kicking off the team is a perfectly apt punishment. I had heard he'd been kicked out of University which I did find harsh, but doesn't seem like its the case and this punishment is deliciously fitting.

It's a great place for a Jay Smooth "what you are" vs. "what you did" breakdown. Nobody cares that you think you aren't a sexist, dude — what you said was super fucking sexist.

If you think you are in no way, shape or form a sexist after calling a 14 year old girl a slut, then you really need to re-educate yourself as to what sexism is.

FUCK this guy. Prejudices really show when you can still manage to make racist/sexist remarks about a 13 year old kid.

Also, is it just me, but the rhetorical use of "a sexist" just sticks in my a craw. A sexist what, you half-wit? It's an adjective not a noun.

Ridiculous. I haven't followed her story very closely but what little I know tells me it's exactly the kind of movie Disney should be making.

What a pathetic example of how threatened some people are by notable women, and how willing to use shaming terms to "put her in her place" people like that are. Good on the school for cutting him. There's no "douche" in "team."
