Or it might just be a picture that is posed similarly to other VF Hollywood Issue covers have in the past...only this time there are a mix of races on the front cover. I don't think it's any kind of racial statement at all.

In fairness, he wasn't commenting on comedians in general—these comments are based in who he PERSONALLY finds funny. His personal take on who's funny right now isn't a predictor of success in the comedy world...

No, it's just a true statement. I love RHCP, but their addition was just weird and truly unnecessary. Mars totally held his own—I think RHCP took away from the performance overall, because it was such a strange pairing.

This is the point at which I jup in and agree...and casually note that I once danced onstage with Prince at Madison Square Garden. He even took me by the hand and danced to the front of the stage with me, and made me sing a line from "Kiss" ("...not your shoe size...," to be specific).

I am aware of the movie reference, obviously (thus the outrage). The defense of the line being in the song is that it's a reference to a blowjob.

I hope that whomever they use to replace her is as fearless as she was. Agree with her or not, she always had the courage to speak her mind, a trait that is largely absent from fashion "criticism" these days.

ETA: Sorry, deleting comment—realized I was feeding a troll. Oops!

Check the car seat with your baggage and use a CARES harness on the plane. It's an FAA approved seat restraint system for toddlers and it turns the seatbelt into a 4-point restraint system.

Of course, because "I don't have a problem with Bey's performance, but to act as if the two were relatively the same in tone doesn't really jibe," is really denigrating a woman for being sexual.

I feel like you didn't read my comment. Or perhaps it's just a comprehension issue.

I wasn't saying one was more valid or authentic than the other at all. The author suggested that people objecting to Beyoncé's "scandalous" performance should be objecting to Pink's as well. The content of what they were singing matters, in terms of tone. The performances couldn't be more different on that front.

Apparently, "eat the cake" is slang for blowjob. But yes, it's really weird. I don't know why anyone would want to compare themselves in ANY way to Ike Turner. And I REALLY don't understand why Beyoncé didn't say, "uh, hold the phone, that's not right!"

I am with you on the Anna Mae line. Though I don't think Jay Z was mocking domestic violence, I think he was being lazy. I sincerely wonder what Tina Turner thinks about it...do you think Beyoncé asked her for permission before the song was released? Has anyone has reached out to Turner for comment?

That was Sean. John Lennon pretty much stopped having a relationship with Julian once Yoko hit the scene. Really sad, actually.

Let's not act like we're clueless as to why one would object to Beyoncé's performance and not to Pink's. Yes, they were both wearing leotards. Beyoncé danced and writhed around while singing about all the ways she was doing the sex with Jay Z. Pink did a gymnastics/modern dance routine while singing about making

I might be alone in this, but I actually found that commercial to be quite funny. But the comments on the SE website are even funnier...

Hmm. It's possible. Often if several members of a cast are going somehwere together, the network might assign them a stylist. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case here. Lace and netting are the new black?

Today I came across a bit on the model who is laying down in this ad—her name is Amber Tolliver and she's a plus size model for Ford. And she's (supposedly) dating the singer, Maxwell (go, girl!). Anyway, she's 5' 9" and a size 12. Mystery solved!

She was actually a cast member on a real network show last year: The New Normal with Ellen Barkin. She was in the cast photo in Vogue and everything, because it was superhyped before its debut (I bet that killed Anna!). Of course, it was cancelled...

Laverne Cox is gorgeous, just so on point.
