Not so smart after all, eh, Alexa?

Is proposing marriage really so hard we need a Lifehacker article about it? Do millennials have no adult figures in their lives to talk about marriage and proposals with? Because if someone is googling “how to propose” and “how to marriage,” then you are not going to find good or realistic answers.

For the record,

But really, have you ever had a bad scrambled egg?

Respectfully disagree. I just rewatched Spanglish the other day while cooking a big batch of Filipino food, and was blown away by the genius of it.

That movie is one of my guilty pleasures.

This guy’s THREE daughters were molested by this guy. Honestly, I’m amazed he wasn’t waiting from a nearby building with a sniper rifle.

Now that I think about it, it was definitely a switcher, but not for HDMI -- I used it for sharing an old school PC tower port between my printer and the ancient MP3 player. One of the male ports I was using at the time had 20 pins. It was an extremely unwieldy setup.

Occasionally — occasionally, yeah right — we get fast food after grocery shopping. I used to basically set up my three boys with their meals, and then start putting groceries away. NO MORE. I’ll still make them wash their hands and then sit in their seats at the table, but they have to wait until I’m done putting the

Ventura Boulevard in Studio City has quite a few serious curves, and that’s one of the big ones. I don’t even know how he ended up in that parking lot — I don’t think it has an actual driveway onto the street, you have to get on a ramp, and sort of do a U turn to get in there.

I can attest that the Contigo snap seal is in fact far superior to Autoseal. I freaking love mine.

I can’t believe HDMI switchers are still a thing. I remember needed to use one for a built computer and an old-school, pre-iPod MP3 player that used flash memory and only held about 15 songs at a time, if they were small enough.

I don’t have that site anymore. But one place to start is this old reddit thread:

My big family meals always involved seafood. Didn’t the Pilgrims have shellfish? Stopping to buy crab and have it steamed at the store today, I think.

Random aside re: moms: My mom once got mad at me because I couldn’t remember how she baked the cake for my sister’s first birthday party. My sister is 7 years older than me.

My mom, God rest her soul, was hilarious.

I get first dude’s dilemma because I was in the exact same spot — Filipino family, mostly Asian friends and mostly Asian dating history. But KNOW WHAT YOU WANT. You can only live your parents’ and friends’ wishes for you for so long. Your brand of wishy washiness is exactly the type of thing that turned me off on your

Unrelated: there’s a Senator Crapo? Apropos.

My first thought when I read this was there’s nothing new here. Since when haven’t men been able indulge in sex outside of marriage?

I fully admit I haven’t read the story or tried the calculator. That said, I can’t see what good could come of this.

I’ve never heard of this referred to as the Irish goodbye, and I think pretty much every culture has a way of stretching out its farewells.

Your wife is wise and you were smart to learn from her.
