Generally, I try to keep abreast of things (ha, ha.) But I’m not even going to watch this one. Among the most toxic legacies of Donald Trump’s campaign is the precedent he has set for the amount of bald-faced lying a person can get away with in a Presidential campaign....

This is the culmination of what happens when we reward people for doing basic shit.

We’re definitely living in a crazy world where you can literally say one thing, and then contradict it two minutes later, and it makes absolutely no difference and nobody is like “wait wtf”.

So, wait a second, Trump and his supporters hate the whole “politically correct” thing, right? But kids need to be nicer to each other on the internet? So at what point does the “being nicer” kid have to be shut off to become the Trump-supporting, non-PC, “telling it like it is” adult?

This is absolutely insane. The entire rise of Trump is predicated exactly on the bullying, mean spirited culture she’s railing against. It depends on it. It thrives on it. It needs it to exist.
