It’s a show that shouldn’t be a show anymore.

I wish I could watch more SNL :(
the obligation to make these complains public, i think, is probably the most significant part. I mean, its a civil suit right, so its really the jury’s decision as to whether they had the obligation or not? I’m no lawyer. Her suit, that Subway’s specific secret knowledge affected her, emotionally, financially, etc...I…
Did this guy really drive sales for that many years to warrant turning a blind eye to multiple allegations?
Seriously, this sounds great!!! There’s so much you can do with all this, its like a treasure trove of material... if we see this happen.. we know it’s bc of us!!!
That’s why I loved Morgan’s storyline and the idea of moving from killing everyone who looks at us funny to creating a society that attempts rehabilitation or forgiveness.
My cousin’s second husband was abusing one of her daughters for YEARS and she had no clue. With hindsight, he was also sniffing around my daughter and she and I just thought it was social awkwardness. It’s actually fairly common for people close to a pedophile to not have a clue what they are.
I thought I might be overcomplicating the possibilities...the poor woman! I hope the jury awards her beaucoup bucks.
It is quite possible that there weren’t red flags. Something similar was discussed here: http://jezebel.com/5862848/how-could-you-be-married-to-a-pedophile-and-not-know-it
I’m curious why Subway didn’t part ways with Fogle upon getting multiple complaints about his behaviours. Seem obvious, no?
Would this fucking surprise anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Judith, the most well-tempered baby ever, will somehow outlive them all, 7 years from now when she’s 3.
Well said. In particular that it has no forward trajectory. I tapped out right after season 5.
if you haven’t already, i highly recommend you read World War Z by Max Brooks - it’s an oral history of the zombie war, written after humanity has begun to take back control of society, and it touches on a lot of this kind of stuff
I don’t make my kids hug or touch anyone either, and have always taught them an arm’s length personal space rule. It was more for me at the time, my peace of mind, but I do think it gives them more autonomy and isn’t that kind of one of those big things parents want to instill?
This is really great. A few months ago when a woman was assaulted at the DNC. If you all remember, the gross asshole assaulted the woman after pressuring her into a hug. And there were a crap ton of people coming out of the woodwork to fucking defend hugging in professional and other settings. Aliya is right. Only…
Right you get it.
OMG, same. Like the worst Republican on that show was the “crime, boy, I don’t know” candidate. Pretending this is a Bartlett election helps dull the pain of the reality.
Same. Mr. Social and I are out for the same reason. It just got... boring.
