Someone somewhere said that he's simply not an actor. When stand up comedians get big enough they are expected to act, and I just don't think he can, except for Broad City.

The Reckonings were to keep everyone playing along. I thought it was pretty obvious. They felt they needed to do these public executions so everyone was scared and stayed in line. Not that that worked, but that was how they kept going for the 12 or whatever years since the initial blow up of the town.

Maybe it's just supposed to blow up the electric in the fence, not actually knock it down. I doubt they could get that type of explosive in wayward pines.
kids are dumb. i thought it was clunky, but then I'm not watching this for brilliance. It's fun.
