On Smackdown they do that. Raw cuts to commercial. Not sure why they don’t do it for both. Maybe commercials cost more on Raw and the companies want their money’s worth

Too late. Old cast members came back occasionally as guest stars, but that’s about the best of it.

I don’t think the comparisons to substance addiction work. I think that some people are more likely to become addicted to gaming like they would other activities that reward the brain with pleasure: gambling, sex, shopping. Unlike substance abuse, where they body physically “needs” some chemical, these activities…
