Part of the irony over this debate is that having a plate on your car DOES NOT mean you have insurance or even if you do, adequate coverage should you need it. In my area 30-40% of cars have no insurance at all. I see plates as a way to provide states with income, and to make cops jobs easier. Makes me wonder why…
