They deliver groceries these days. :)
They deliver groceries these days. :)
Between the minuscule frunk, and the little storage cubby behind the seats, you should be able to fit plenty for a weekend trip.
Spoken like someone who has never driven one... Seriously, think mid-engine Miata. It’s not the fastest or best-handling thing in the world, but it sure as hell feels like a solid package when you’re driving it.
Honestly, even despite all of the much-higher horsepower German and Japanese cars I’ve had over the years, the MR-S was still the most fun car I’ve owned. For under $6k, I’d take one in a heartbeat!
I’m pretty sure I would want to wear Sonic’s awesome shoes, though - not literally wear Sonic on my feet. Just saying.
They were driving poorly ironically.
Then, if you want to get silly, import the bits from the Golf R Variant to make it look the part... and throw a suspension and some better brakes on the thing so you don’t kill yourself.
It requires 1500 hours to become a commercial pilot, who uses a fancy autopilot system. In most states, it requires an extremely simple written and driving test - if anything - to get a driver’s license. I think that, at some point in that 1500 hours, it’s pretty well drilled into the head of the prospective…
No worries, no animosity :)
I would rather have the ~85 in the background, but I would definitely rock this thing.
As a rebuttal to that statement, I would add that significantly less than 50% of the US population voted for Trump. Ignoring people who didn’t vote, and random minority parties, he didn’t even have half of the votes between he and Hilary - he just had the RIGHT votes.
Much more likely to empty your stomach in the opposite direction, unless you were 10-hutting it on the way home. :)
A timeless design (especially with the darker taillights), and a (relatively) easy swap to a 2jzgte have guaranteed it will happen eventually. Add in the existence of the wagon, and... Yeah.
Yup, just not enthusiasts. :)
With the sole exception of the BRZ, yes. The BRZ has a (relatively) fantastic 6-speed auto.
Well, considering the outgoing XT wasn’t available in a manual, I would imagine the take rate was somewhere around 0% for the manual anyway... so not much of a loss.
Easily. The current 2.5i does 0-60 in 8.7 seconds, and weighs 300lbs less.
You’re absolutely right, though. The current Outback is slower to 60 than the ‘85 Toyota 4x4 I had when I first got my license. How slow Subaru’s non-enthusiast cars is just criminal. There should genuinely be a limit to how terrible a power-to-weight ratio can get... When these people pull right out in front of you…
Give the Crosstrek a halfway decent amount of power, and I’d imagine enthusiasts would buy the hell out of it.
Yes, I absolutely would classify the Outback and Ascent as Gargantuan and Planetary. The Ascent is only 4" shorter than the Traverse, FYI. Considering the original Forester was almost THIRTY INCHES shorter than the Ascent - I would say that the fact we’re even comparing the Forester and the Traverse is absurd.
