Sorry, the 240z is one of my favorite cars of all time, but, ignoring all of the other things fundamentally wrong with it, this particular example just looks terrible.

Why, because literally one car has done it before? Sub-3-second 0-60 is absolutely mind-blowing. Sub-2-seconds is earth-shattering, re-evaluate your life kind of shit.

No, this is a bad thing. Mercedes destroyed the value of tons of cars with these GT-R-esque moves. These are all the same car:

The ENTIRE DAMN POINT of why this car is so good is that it’s as good as it is, while undercutting everyone else. When you mark the price up, YOU REMOVE THE ADVANTAGE.
