That’s what my dad keeps saying - that the only thing standing between Trump and the country becoming Germany circa 1940 is the fact that the military generally won’t follow illegal orders. So that’s given me SOME hope.

Members of the military are required not to follow illegal orders. Many of President Trump’s desires, tweets, and even formally issued orders go against the Constitution.

On one hand, it’s a little disturbing that they’re ignoring him because disobeying the order of your commander-in-chief is not a great precedent.

That would honestly be a huge blow, Mattis is one of the few holdouts who actually have a level head and the capacity to at least minimize Trump’s damage.

I’m in the military and I think one of our Soldiers may be transgender. I write “think” because I really don’t give a shit because they do their job. I have found most of my fellow Soldiers feel the same way.

I think Mattis is just waiting Trump out on this, assuming that the royal baby will either forget about this bullshit or leave office. Insubordination by top military officials is a scary idea, but it ever a commander in chief deserved, it is now.

Maybe we can give Trump some GI Joes to play with and he might forget about the study.
