Good for relative comparison but surely all those figures are dependent on ambient temperature as well.

@Kamatari +: Depends where you are but here a warranty expiring doesn't mean you have no recourse to have things repaired/replaced. So unless it covers accidental damage then by definition they are a waste of money if they offer nothing over your existing consumer rights.
@Jake Bechtold: Depends on what consumer laws you have. Most extended warranties I've seen don't actually offer anything beyond what is already a legal right anyway. In the UK, an 18 month old laptop would definitely be able to be fixed/repaired or replaced without cost to you (and also not had to waste money on…
@Correlation is a dirty scopes: I can't complain for price either, £10/month for unlimited texts and unlimited data (which turns out to be 3GB fair usage/mo which is far cheaper and better than the 3G data dongle I used to use).
@gopanthers: I had no trouble seeing everything. ?
@Correlation is a dirty scopes: T-Mobile for me as well, lol. Signal in general has got a bit better with access to Orange network now but of course that's restricted to 2G for us T-Mob customers. I'm happy with my contract but 3G signal is very patchy even within small areas. Even more of a problem now I use my phone…
@CaptBojank: I'm getting fed up of the poor 3G signals here.
Luckily I'd put myself on a restricted diet for 6 months before I got my copy of 4HB so it was only a matter of small changes to what I was already doing, and the binge/cheat day is actually a bonus compared to before. Lost 1/4 of my body weight before I started the slow carb diet anyway.
@RPR: I'm a dropbox user and think it's great but for mobile photo syncing and backing up sugarsync is the easiest and best thing I've ever used.
How would this apply to us non-Americans? I don't trust my own government with that info, never mind a foreign government.
@Jeb_Hoge: Doesn't help if it's taken by the authorities though.
@ResQBrett: Tried iTunes for the first time in a couple of years last week (on Win7-64bit ultimate), halfway through importing my music after set up it crashed and closed. Turned out music I wanted wasn't on itunes store anyway (the reason I decided to give iTunes another chance). Uninstalled, lol. Maybe I was just…
@Felix26591: Quite a good idea, wouldn't be too strange considering my mum is American.
@unitoperation: I've been using Lastpass for quite a bit now and I can't imagine NOT using it on a daily basis. Whole point is you only have to remember one password, how easy it is for you to remember is down to you and if you're using it all the time then you're far less likely to forget it. Also you could store…
@matt: Some of us don't have a Thanksgiving at all. ;)
@wildblueyonder: I don't know why it doesn't "look" free to you but it is free, so that's all that matters.
@Neon: Actually if it's "National Security" related (and whole point is they can't see the data so they could claim it was), I believe the maximum sentence is five years!
@torched - White Gold Wielder: Already been trialled, and it was voted to revert to the GMT/BST system in the UK after the trial. And it has nothing to do with farming in the first place in the UK.
@jethro1138: I'm starting to look at GPG myself, (especially as UK Government are now planning on spending £2 billion on intercepting and storing our emails). I love Truecrypt but it's for completely different purpose if I want to encrypt communications.
