Died in the cybertruck the other night because I couldn’t get out.
Why do automakers insist on installing electrically powered doors? Just give us manual door locks like we’ve had forever. They work. They are easy to fix. They don’t require idiotic emergency levers. Stop overcomplicating things that work perfectly fine.
I really don’t understand why this is legal. Every trunk is required to have a glow in the dark handle that can open it from the inside at any time but for some reason it’s okay for normal ass doors to just become unopenable under common emergency situations.
That guy showed an amazing amount of restraint upon finding someone in the act of trying to steal his car. I’m not sure I’d be so forgiving.
Only like two or three times. It’s honestly not that big a deal.
-“Why are you in my car?”
-“Because I can’t get out.”
These electric door releases need a redesign. There should be one handle per door. Half a pull - electric release, full / hard pull - mechanical.
How strange. I had something similar happen to me about 20 years ago. I bought a turbo timer for my MR2 and quickly realized I could set it for 10 mins, turn the car ‘off’ (still running, but I had removed the key) lock it, and run into a store to grab something and come out with time to spare.
One day I did this but…
Most of the reccommendations do not actually afford him more space, they are either sedans or fastbacks.
...Maybe?
Rumors on other sites suggest one of them was doing a u-turn in the middle of the road. Anyone at Jalop hear that?
Describing Mary Kay as a “hugely successful woman-founded cosmetic business empire” is wild without mention of it’s predatory design and practices.
Porsche 911 engine for sale. Ran when removed from vehicle.
Judging by the oil/engine location and the car positions it looks like the 911 rotated into oncoming and got its butt chopped off by the GT3RS going the other way.
To get an Ohio used car dealer license, you need to have a $25,000 surety bond. Even though the dealer closed, I don’t think the bond would be revoked/given back to the dealer since there was pending litigation. Earleta Homes could have their lawyers claw back the $3k from the bond money (since that’s what it’s for).
The lack of pressurization means the pressure *inside* the ear is much higher than outside. The pressure imbalance is going the other way.
Tesla is the worst of both worlds.
If I understand Elon’s 4D chess correctly (and that’s unlikely, since I’m not nearly as smart as he is), first he will first tell them “GFY”, then sue them for not buying his cars? This is how one becomes a trillionaire?
Ironically the GOP is forcing the US to cede these industries to China because they keep taking money from the oil and gas industry to hold them back. Had the US embraced these industries and renewables decades ago like we should have, the US would be the world leader in them.
