The article says the trailer had one (only one?) tracker on it, but they managed to deactivate it. That just screams inside job to me. And having only one tracker in the trailer screams amateur hour too.

Found the trailer GPS so quick? Inside job, gotta be.

they are in a container on their way to Dubai.

Every car is a sports car if you drive it hard enough.

I just think it’s entirely reasonable for FAA to say “Wait a second, something unexpected happened and we don’t want something else unexpected that might be more dangerous to happen, so let’s talk about this a bit. Explain it so that we have reasonable confidence you won’t create a dangerous situation in the National

On satellite launches losing boosters and satellites is just a cost.

This is what happens when the government outsources critical missions to private companies. Just nationalize Boeing and SpaceX already - it would be nice to see them run competently.

It’s preferred to have the number of successful landings exactly equal the number of successful launches. And if you lost control of your vehicle then you’ve lost control of your vehicle, and that needs checking out. Nonetheless we’re at least a month away from the earliest possible launch of a SpaceX launch to the

Abandoning any pretense of caring about the climate was just part of Musk’s deal with the far-right devil he worships. After all, he runs an AI and robotics company, it’s not like he runs a car company or anything, right? He doesn’t even plan to be on this planet much longer (lucky for the rest of us).

I can’t believe that new VW electric van is going to be $70k. Just ridiculous money for a vehicle like that.

Musk never cared.  He was marketing his product.  Money and power don't change you, they make you more of what you already were.

Toyoburu also gets one in the + column if it’s your only car. While not exactly spacious, it has a lot more room for hauling stuff than a Miata (unless you have to haul, like, a really really tall lamp that fits in a passenger seat).

Miata is still the answer, but BRZ works if you need/want a hardtop.

Having dealt with school buses and bus drivers in my career, and having ridden school buses until graduation in 1981, I can find major faults on both sides of the argument.

Ashtrays are are on the “minimum equipment list” and all airplanes are required to have them for safely extinguishing a cigarette in the event someone is dumb enough to light one. Even if they aren’t built into the plane or have been removed, there has to be one somewhere on board and accessible to flight crew.

Planes can have a *very* long service life.

There’s a Taycan wagon, no?

Therein lies the problem. I want a touring/wagon. I do not want to spend extra on an M or AMG or RS of a “luxury” (read: $$$) brand.

Their in lies the problem. I want an m3 touring, I do not want an M5 touring. The M5 touring weighs over 500kg more then the M3 Touring.
