There’s nothing bitchy about your reaction, lol. Compared to the expense, unforgiving timing and crapshoot efficacy/side effects of HBC, a little shot, slice, spurt and sew is much easier.
But seriously, that’s my hope as well. Its cousin RISUG has basically 100% effectiveness (the only misfire in 10+ years allegedly resulting from botched delivery and not the compound itself), and the animal testing on Vasalgel has shown strong results, though they’re still working out some kinks on reversibility.

Speaking as a Houstonian who infrequently visits San Antonio, I think it’s a culturally-rich and fairly navigable city. Bonus points for its close proximity to Austin and all its weirdness. I should go to SA more often tbh; I have several fam friends who live there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if licensing costs become more onerous as a show’s longevity increases (the rationale being that there’s more money to be extracted from said show by the issuing party), making the indie covers a much cheaper proposition.
