No, he killed off his imaginary friend. He didn't kill himself
No, he killed off his imaginary friend. He didn't kill himself
This point has been adressed by numerous filmmakers. Test audiences can literally ruin your movie, especially if they're not part of the demographic the movie aims for
Watch "The Babadook". It's also a metaphor for depression, albeit with a much more satisfying conclusion
As a manic depressive with loads of attempts behind me, I really feel this movie glorified suicide in manic depressive people..
I also feel the urge to punch the director in the face for promoting this point of view
Well, my 2 cents:
It wasn't schizophrenia, it was manic depression. They literally say these exact words during the movie. And it glorifies manic depressive suicide. Fyi, 20% of people who suffers from manic depression does commit suicide. Fact. Look it up.
That's why this movie was disgusting
Yes, they are. As a manic depressive myself, the message in this movie was blatantly obvious. It has EVERYTHING to do with this movie. You have to be a moron not to understand it's themes and message.
It's NOT supernatural. It's an allegory of manic depression
As a manic depressive myself, I agree. This movie's message was disgusting.
Yeah, fighting depression by blowing her brains out….
If you like this movie, you're supporting bipolar suicide..
SPOILERS!
In other words; Audition is not a torture porn movie….
Nicer, gentler remake? That's the Last House On The Left remake all over again. It also sucked
Not true. And btw, there are several "original" Ringu movies before the boring american version..
LOL you got it backwards
Don't you mean brain-cells?
LOL Martyrs isn't torture porn..
