Unfortunately Trump is one of those “Patriots” that equates criticism with hatred because even wanting America to do better instead of celebrating an exceptionalism they feel comes from simply being “‘MERCUHN” is being disloyal.

While I wish to believe that they’d be sanely outraged, the fact that the baby’s uncle described his brother as “very supportive of Trump” leaves a hint of doubt in my mind that they might be blaming video games and lack of prayers in schools

It’s incredibly sad that I didn’t know if the article was referring to the last time Trump fed his ego by crashing a wedding and being greeted with chants of “USA” or if this was something “new” that happened this weekend

I see your link to the “success” of Trump’s Tax Cuts and raise you this one just out today. Basically, in 2018, Trump didn’t even achieve his 3% GDP growth, instead only hitting ~2.5% which is the 30-year average. Remember when he was pushing his tax cuts with claims like:

Jesus fucking Christ, I thought time passed slowly when Trump jumped from controversy to controversy every other day but we’re now in week two of of his latest Racist Twitter bullshit and it feels like time has fucking stopped (but things continue to get worse)

That is a fair question, unfortunately it is not one that has an easy answer.

I think many Trump supporters WOULD think the United States is a Theocracy (if they’re even aware of that word) given how often you hear the shit about the US being a “Christian Nation”

That first (three) Trump tweet seemed way too articulate to have been written by Trump, then I saw that he was quoting someone and it all made sense

What this administration has really done is expose how so much of our government relies on the honor system and trusting that the people put in power will govern with basic ethical principles and how few practical procedures for enforcement we actually have.

Seriously, we’re gonna have to replace just about everyone in any sort of upper level government position because everyone placed by the Trump administration is utter garbage and any sane person that was already there has resigned or was forced out only to be replaced with more of Trump’s garbage

I’m surprised they haven’t pitched it as a solution to the inevitable social security bubble bursting. Less people alive to claim benefits so there’s more social security money for the quality people that can already afford health care
