Not surprising but still fucking frightening

I kind of wish they made an anti-Trump/GOP ad campaign consisting entirely of Simpsons clips but I’d imagine it’d go over the heads of anyone already dumb enough to support Trump

I’m still bummed that Castlevania Bloodlines never released on the Wii’s Virtual Console.  It was cool having all the classic Castlevania games on one system.

Remember when our present reality was a literal fucking joke?

Also, in probably the most Trump thing to happen before 9pm today, Trump is trying to profit from the “crisis” he’s manufactured

The press release sounds like code for “shitty monile management sim” or “shitty mobile Five Nights at Freddy’s Ripoff”

The Democrats could probably end the shutdown by telling him we don’t need money for the wall because it’s already built, then show him some pictures of the great wall of China

Right but the main difference I see between Trump and Nixon is that Nixon got the presidency legitimately so while he did commit a crime, his presidency is not the result of a crime so it makes sense that his policies would stay in place; like making lefitimate purchases and latercommiting a criminal assault. The Constitution doesn’t have an answer because a situation like this was so far out of the realm of possibility for the people that wrote it. The Constitution, ostensibly, has multiple safegards to protect against this situation and they have all failed so far.

This is what I don’t get, if Trump is found to have used illegal or even treasonous means to get his office, how the fuck is it right that any of the decisions and appointments he made while in the office should remain valid?  Hell even a credit card company doesn’t hold you responsible when there is fraud on your

The kind of person that just days earlier claimed that many of those same furloughed employees encouraged him to keep the shutdown going because they believe in the wall

It’s a hell of a lot closter than his bullshit lie to the soldiers that he was giving them a 10%+ raise (THE FIRST IN OVER A DECADE!) when in the real world, they’ve gotten one every year, it’s just over 2% and Trump had nothing to do with it

Some people on twitter are speculating that he’ll be “forced” to land in Florida on his way back and since he’s there anyways, might as well stay at his club a few nights before going back up to DC.

I somehow stumbled upon some conservative news site arguing that the shutdown is no big deal for the republicans since the critical functions of the company are either funded or forced to work anyways so most people won’t notice anything and that Republicans can and should hold out for weeks, months, or even years to

Since Trump keeps calling the Mueller investigation a witch hunt, can we just toss him in the fire when he’s inevitably found guilty?

Typically by siding with the murderous, authoritarian dictator against mounting evidence from credible sources and waiting until the (many) next horrific fuckup of his own making forces people to report/respond to that leaving not enough hours in the day to hang him for the first thing

Also, the fat turd took a limo and a motorcade to cross the street and greet Bush Jr
