This is a saddening dose of reality. Even if the blue wave sweeps out Trump and the GOP, we’ll still be fucked for years to come because we have a Supreme Court that will gladly rule on the side of sexism, bigotry, and racism.

I absolutely feel you on that.  It almost feels like even if the Trump and the GOP are swept out of office, we’re atill fucked for decades because we have a Supreme Court that’s happy to rule in favor of racism and bigotry.  I mean, there is only a 5-4 majority but there is no silver medal for coming in second.
