I can't believe how needlessly snarky and dismissive of this study so many commenters are. There was a similar reaction earlier this week in response to a scientific study about pregnancy and gender determination.

As far as the small sample size . . . according to binomial probability distributions, the chances of getting 26 or more girl babies out of 32 pregnancies is 0.0002, or .02%. So, even with the small sample size, this is still a significant result, indicating an actual effect.
