100% agree. Especially with 4-6. Best High Fantasy ever writen. I can still get chills when reading the Dumai Wells scene.

1-3: Good high fantasy.
4-6: Best high fantasy ever written. Choose your favorite there is only three options.
7-8: Good high fantasy again but slower pace than 1-3.
9-10: The winnowing if you’re here momentum better carry you.
11: Return to form
12-14: Great books! Better than my wildest expectations.

They are fictional characters. The characters themselves aren’t the ones appropriating culture, since they have no agency of their own: it’s the creators and writers who appropriate the culture.
