I’m curious how gearing works in these cars. 0-316 in a normal car would what 30 gears? No person nor I presume automatic could do that in 3 seconds. And I can't imagine a single gear the width of a toothpick that could handle that stress.

Frivolous lawsuits sure; ridiculous. But it’s actually a great thing that anyone can sue almost anyone in this country with reason. You can sue individuals, companies, and even the government if you think it’s truly warranted. And if a court aggrees you might actually get something done.
