and when the hell is Solo Leveling getting an anime? I wanna see that in action already.

Welcome back!

As much as fans complain about Fire Emblem reps, I am SHOCKED we’ve yet to get one Heroes rep. Their new characters have just gone bonkers in lore and abilities: Norse myths, literal deities. They added freaking mech suits!

Their transformations, while taking up the down special slot in their arsenal, are also a lot fun to manage, even if I find myself preferring Pyra overall.

I highly recommend Hellsing Ultimate.

Fair enough.

Great Demon King Koopa.” ;)

Just because they’re popular does not indicate quality.

The quality isn’t great, sure, but I’ve seen shows turn things around. Maybe the anime will improve as the season goes on or get an improved Blu-ray release.

As much as I love Super Mario Galaxy 2, the biggest misstep was downsizing Rosalina’s storyline (horribly underutilized/nonexistent here).

Interesting set of choices. I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about Astro. The last game off hand that showed off a system’s capabilities was Wii Sports. It’s a shame Nintendo never followed up on that (or more accurately, they found out they can sell the games apart!), but it will be interesting to see if they

As an amateur critic, I wrestle with similar thoughts. Ultimately, all art is subjective, yet I wonder if we’re being too black and white with reviews. Good/bad, yes/no, 9 out of 10 - the problem with these labels is they don’t foster discussion because they assume by default that the argument begins and ends the

Personally, I’m of the opinion it’s a good game, just not a great Mario platformer.

This is my first Supergiant game, so I really didn’t know what I was walking into with Hades. The thing that really stood out starting out was how integral the soundtrack is to the experience, probably more than most games. It’s hard to describe, but the more you play, the more you begin to pick up the little hooks

I prefer physical (bonus if its slightly cheaper), but this might be the year I embrace digital with the virus going around. Recently, I bought Ghost of Tsushima digitally, and found it much more convenient than popping a disc open. While I don’t see myself dumping physical completely, I’m starting to see the appeal

I was going to say either Horizon: Zero Dawn, as I was severely disappointed it was yet another generic, open world sandbox game or Astral Chain every time the action slowed down. But then I remember I tried Borderlands 2, which tested my patience at every opportunity. Aside from wanting to brutally murder Claptrack,

I’m no expert, but it usually comes down to money and who is footing the bill. Some productions like to greenlit two seasons from the start while others do one season and watch the results to see if their is enough interest to warrant more seasons. But even if there is interest or it becomes popular, future seasons
