While many of us would like to think if he had to do it again, Kavanaugh would tone down his emotion during the hearing. But, he was charged with baseless and uncorroborated claims. The Democrats destroyed what would have been a wonderful experience for him and his family during these proceedings over what turned out

I don’t know, multiple FBI investigations, hearings, Senate involvement...seems pretty high in terms of standards.

I would say that in terms of judicial acumen, yes, Thomas has not been known to be that significant. But, like Sotomayor, who is not the brightest member of the court, they are minority appointments. Roberts, Gorsich and Kavanaugh are considered brilliant...and their records prove it.

Where did you get that?  Best examples of men in the land?  Also, we can all be accused of many things, doesn’t mean those accusations are true.  In both cases we know they weren’t and we do indeed have 2 great examples of men, judges and leaders.

That is so short sighted.  Everything is going to be fine.  If the Kavanaugh confirmation was any indictation, we should all be very thankful white men take leadership and the constitution so seriously or we would have capitulated to emotional mobs willing to disregard facts, due process and significant guarantees of

?  The Constitution is fine.  The issue is with Democrats.  What is there to fix that our founders didn’t forsee?

Have you lost, or have current leadership shown us all a better way?  Employment, Finance, Immigration, Trade, Supreme Court...just great strides and steps forward.

I thought the Republicans handled this situation admirably.  They showed respect for the allegations, the halted the process for hearings and bent over backwards to assuage Ford and the Democrats fears.  They led the charge for a 7th FBI investigation into Kavanaugh.  They put up with the childish and petulant

I can’t imagine so many WOC would disregard the foundations of our republic and the presumption of innocence, time to be very scared.

I think we have to say a few things about Trump.  1) He’s unlikeable 2) He is not a politician 3) Confidence in him has delivered low unemployment, jobs and with it dignity. 4) He refuses to let the US take the brunt in trade deals 5) He wants the right people in place to do the job right.

Just an FYI...if Ford’s story was true, it still is not rape.  I don’t think you can just bandy about that word....words have meaning.

What man? You mean Feinstein or Ford? They’re women.

What other agenda do you prefer?

It is going to happen.  Soon.

Sure, but you’re talking about like 10 people.

He’s better than a Republican b/c he votes based on truth.  That is what he did.  It just so happened that the Republicans voted based on truth too.

A few things. It is commendable that a male Democrat would hear the findings and vote to confirm. The facts are clear. It is a shame and really a mark against women for the female Republican to break with the party here.

I applaud both their work!  As a people we must battle against this form of abuse on all fronts.  We must strive for peace, and figure out a way to separate this tactic from war.

Well there it is...no question about why there might be a desire among whites to prevent people of color into this country and make it difficult to vote...they come up with some illogical conclusions and disregard basic constitutional and legal doctrine.  That’s a lot of women who are refusing to seek the truth.

Wow, that is frightening that black and latino women do not share this country or culture’s view on presumption of innocence, facts and evidence and the distinction between credible accusations and truthful ones.
