Of course it could be argued that something that is not dated is also not grounded in a specific period of time, which to me would seem to limit its cultural impact and its historical relevance.

I have not seen most of these, but I cannot believe that man of steel (or planes for that matter) is among the 15 absolute worst movies from among the hundreds if not thousands of movies that came out this year. With a little time on MovieFone or Redbox I could probably name 10 worse movies that came out last month.
