I have to agree with Tracie that Joan is by far the best character on the show.

@Sazelus: Okay, dude. Why did you go to a strip club in the first place? If you can't even bring yourself to look at the dancer's body, just...don't go, and then you won't have to bear witness to all the wilted flowers and sad eyed-dreamers.
@Chris Braak: lol. I thought that turn of words was pretty funny too.
@chelabelle: I know, it was such a smart move on Eninem's part to collaborate with her on this.
@reasonableprudentperson: Um, dude, being gay doesn't mean that you understand women or get a pass for being an idiot on a feminist website.
@mommamellow: A last-resort PR tactic after a huge amount of bad press? Not impressed or feeling better.
@reasonableprudentperson: Oh, I have no doubt that you are a "Nice Guy" (TM).
I like Sean Penn as an actor (Milk OMG) but he has always insisted on being The Most Pretentious Person In Hollywood.
@HallelujahRIP: I have to second this.
Of course a four year old running around half-naked isn't a big deal.
Behold: Megan fox in 7th grade.
@Imogen Quest: ha, ditto. My senior picture features a black shirt, sideswept hair, two facial piercings and a scowl.

@i'm going to have my friends call me valerie: I would never give someone in that situation advice to "retaliate", I was only stating what my response would be in that situation.
@audreyapple: I think another point worth noting is that the subject of this piece isn't overtly sexualized - Unlike Paz, the subject of the last doting piece on Dream Girls in the NYT.
@PrincessKashmir: After I read your comment I decided to play Internet Sleuth too.
Of course Angelina has crafted her public image. She's one of the most famous people in the world. You don't get to her echelon of 20-mil-a-movie without a hell of a lot of business savvy.
I am one of those women who seems to be incapable of understanding this kind of woman.
@kung fu lola: I don't know if a physical confrontation between a man and a woman can ever not be "gendered". Men are built to be physically stronger and this gives them an inherently unfair advantage. Of course there are exceptions that could be cited all fucking night but the vast majority of the time, it's true.
