Hahaha.
"But in-game, Too Human will use a dynamic, intelligent camera system that presents the in-game in a more cinematic light, at the same time being conducive to good gameplay."
I'm a 360 owner, and so am inclined to have a good laugh about this. However, since this is an RTS, it belongs on PC only. I won't be handing over my $60 for it and PS3 owners shouldn't be upset either. It's just better on PC.
Porn star or not, this game's going to be great. Can't wait.
I work in the media. I remember a colleague of mine writing the coltan story — in 2004. It was old even back then.
This one can stay in the incubator permanently as far as I'm concerned. From the gameplay I've seen, there's nothing there worth my $60.
I'd have loved to see it this year, but there's so much high-quality stuff in the pipe for the rest of 2008 (Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Saints Row 2, GTA IV DLC) that I don't mind waiting.
@okenny :): Alright, I don't normally reply to something like this, but I'll bite this time. This has absolutely and completely NOTHING to do with these guys expressing themselves. This is a sort of demi-marketing or, more aptly, cover-up for historically poor marketing, disguised as "insider insight."
@okenny :): With all due respect, I hardly give a fuck what Peter Molyneux thinks about Dyack or vice versa. Here is a pair of overhypers, each trying to justify each other's grandiosity. If that makes their opinions more valid than ours, then you should by all means listen to them.
@ChronicLogic: That just about says it. I'd probably use just harsher language.
Microsoft's "Mii thing." That made my day. Waggle THAT, bitches!
This is a Valve game. Means I'll be buying it.
I'll try to finish HL2: Episode Two and download the Too Human demo to prove with all certainty to myself that it does in fact suck.
It's interesting to observe that while the traditionally violent 360 is trying to be more like the Wii with its dashboard overhaul and animated avatars, the Wii is looking to cater to the harder core of gamers of late with new, gory games like MadWorld.
This thing really looks unique and very, very pretty. I'm thrilled to play it. My two concerns: length and repetitiveness.
Sucks for the PS3 fans, I guess. I'm pumped for this and for any DLC it'll have. And for the record, I'm still definitely waiting for GTA IV DLC for my 360 and will be getting it the day it comes out.
@Blind_Evil: If CoD4 bores you, why play it? Games are supposed to be fun, remember? I don't understand when people say something's lame, but then boot it up anyway.
Maybe I'll get a chance to play some HL2: Episode 1 and 2, or finally play Team Fortress 2 for the first time. Doubt it though, as it's shaping up to be a busy weekend.
Oh dear. Now I'm all excited.
