This thins is going to be amazing. I can't wait, whether it's Nov. 1, 5, 7, 11 or whenever. Just get it out!

Aside from the errors in this contest thus far, I wonder why Kotaku is letting us comment in the contest to begin with. Why not just close it to comments so that people like sladee don't ruin everyone's "fun?"

A "well-known recording?" Surely there's a word missing in there somewhere.

Looks too pretty to pass up. I saw something earlier that made me doubt this game, but this footage looks great. Will wait to get it used, though.

What a stupid set of awards. That's like saying the Moviemakers Club held an awards show and Universal Soldier: The Return was called the best movie of the century, but only because it's writers/directors are members of the Moviemakers Club and no one else is.

@vgerik1234: It's a grain filter, much like in Mass Effect, where it was used to give it a B-movie-ish cinematic effect. Except in B:BC you cannot turn it off.

@phantam: I'd understand if you were firing a Renaissance-era arquebus, but not a precision modern-day automatic at a guy who's 20 feet from you. Point blank is point blank, and Nerf guns are Nerf guns. Anyway, I no longer own B:BC, so I don't care. You guys enjoy the game.

Said it before - really wanted to like it, played half way through the campaign and a bunch of multiplayer games before trading it in for Orange Box.

This game has the most hackneyed, cliched story I've ever seen in a game, let alone a JRPG — and that's saying a lot. Definite pass.

Hilarious. I'm sad but glad that I didn't get this one because of how shit it looks. I bet the guys who made the game must cry into their coffees when they see that their efforts are just the butt of an internet joke now.

Wow - Midway wants me to pay $60 so that I can play a douchebag simulator? Pass.

Eeeew. She's really gross. The I-live-in-a-dumpster look went out in the mid 1990s, unless you're a crackwhore. I wonder if she feels bad that a piece of cover art for a video game looks better than her real-life attempt.

I really really wanted to like it, but I played about half-way through the single player and a bunch of multiplayer before I took it out of my 360, packed it up and traded it in for the Orange Box.

@Sparx: Ah, I stand corrected - and no, I confess, I didn't read the whole thing! :D

I also only keep a handful of games. But Haze? Dude. I thought you were going after "only the cream?"

Never done it, but I'm what you'd call a relatively hardcore gamer.

@MOP88: That is a great quote.

Judging by this kid's picture, he was already playing with a few cards short of a full deck. Way to abdicate personal responsibility, you fucking goof.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.
