If Kurt stopped he would have been hit from the real and the pits would have been blocked making a very dangerous situation for the crews over the wall. Brad left pits unsafely and Kurt did nothing wrong.

Kurt didn't have anywhere to go on the pit road incident. The majority of the damage came from Brad hitting Kahne. Brad overreacted on the whole deal, it was a typical Martinsville pit road traffic jam.
