I saw a lot of posts about dealers getting a customer to put down a deposit on a C8, then when the car arrives they want the customer to pony up a $20k markup.

Meanwhile other dealerships have them ready at MSRP.

I agree.  Why should I pay, for example, $250,000 for an $80,000 Corvette?  That car can rot on the showroom floor for that matter.

5th: GM’s supposed “meddling” is good for their customers. We had one national standard that was negotiated by CARB, EPA, and the automakers.   Then Trump came in, pulled the EPA out of the deal and tried to roll back emission standards.
