Gotcha, Didn’t realize Mustang and Challenger are similar in reliability as well. Doesn’t make me think any less of them just hadn’t looked.

Also I’m not saying CR is unreliable for information, I thought it was odd that cars that share the same in car electronics, Infotainment and carry over parts are being rated so differently in the scope of the owners who answering the surveys. This could be more attributed to what owners expectations are with each

So the in car electronics that are rated twice as high in a malibu are some how worse in a Camaro? The handling and performance is higher but how is shared infotainment somehow make the Camaro worse? It is better than a Malibu so what point are you making to me? The 2016 Camaro was rated 1/5 for reliability a

Sorry in car Electronics and the Malibu got 4/5 not 3.5 correction

Infotainment usually covers that and if you’re a member you see the entire breakdown.

I’ve noticed that as well. Their feedback comes back from a lot owner feedback and it’s interesting to see how that varies.

Example I’m thinking of is
Camaro had a 1/5 for it’s Infotainment, controls and UX.
Malibu 3.5/5 for its Infotainment, Controls and UX.

Agreed. To the Max. Redistribution of wealth is the next step but instead we are going backwards. GAHH!!!

This won’t level the playing field this is going to devastate the automotive manufacturing sector across all companies, Even the most American contented vehicles still have 20 or more percent of parts that are supplied outside of the US. In addition to that, people are under the belief that VW and BMW and others are

Yeah I guess marketing didn’t really promote any of the reasons why I bought an ATS and I’m under 30. Bought for the way it drives and felt on the road pure and simple and the Materials were good and it felt nice inside at that time but it’s dated and Newer competitive sedans came out that trounced it in that

I see you left out CTS, ATS, The Vs and the CT6 or the majority of Cadillacs. Cool and also the Colorado. You could of said the same thing about Nissan, aside from the 370z and the GTR. But w/e GM shit everything else good. (eye rolls)

Not to mention, as far as how they handled the situation, especially with my brothers Fiesta, the miss shifting violently and jerking between gears was considered normal, and tried to push the issues towards the end of the warranty to have my brother pay out of pocket. He made appointments for it in early 2013 and

I had a friend with an early 2000's Focus as well, gf had a 2004 wagon. It had electrical issues, door locks were a common problem however, drive train just kept chugging well over 250k. They sold the car and it was still going, be it without rockers since they rusted off hahaha.

And that might be true, it still didn’t help it’s reputation. Plus we were looking within the last year. We did look at Fusions as well but dealers just didn’t have them on their lots and were pushing the Ecosports. That put us both off entirely. She was just looking for a bigger sedan. We found them just wasn’t going

Agreed when the Fiesta, Focus and Escape came out as new products they were well received and quite nice. Fiesta alone has a great chassis and was more exciting to the Fit. Then they came out with the ST line up. However...

That powershift transmission really hurt their reliability scores. My brother has a 2012

I thought the same on an equivilant Ford F-150 aside from the dash material. I think Dodge is the only one who really stepped up the truck interior department. Most trucks I sat on felt cheap and plasticky and no truck really stuck out as being that much cheaper in  feeling other than the Titan.

I work in CAD and many modeling softwares, so yes I do actually.

I agree with you on this, Cadillac needs to set it self apart on surface and Drivetrain. Switch gear shouldn’t be shared and regardless of hinges and other possible GM shared components, everything you touch and see should be top tier.

OOOOO door hinges, I remember hearing from every publication that Cadillac was let down by it’s door hinges.  If you said turn signal stock, and door lock buttons you would of had me. But those things don’t make or break that car, and besides Door hinges can’t be shared unless they are build on the same platform and

Also not my opinion, CRs opinion and review, which isn’t influenced by sponsors. Which leaves it less to bias.

I figured you woudn’t your opinions are dumb and lack validity, every thing you continue to type just makes that even more obvious.
