Good reply.
Good reply.
I agree with Nick2, but for me its more about the speed and readability factor. I have absolutely miserable handwriting, so most of my notes are illegible to me later. This is also influenced by the speed...many of my professor flick through slides like it's going out of style, and a keyboard is the only way that I…
Hopefully this doesn't become an overriding trend. The only thing I like about facebook on my Incredible is the ability to sync contact pictures. I don't use it for anything else, and I do not want facebook all over my phone.
As a man who has to shave his head every 2-3 days to maintain a relatively smooth head, this would be awesome if it actually worked. And it's not silly at all, would reduce my 7-10 minutes of head shaving to 20 seconds. I'd say that's worth the money.
Go, Egyptian people. I hope you get what you want.
@Galvarez: Why is the iPhone the best gadget of January?
@cicadymn: Completely agree. I currently have a less than 3 lb acer with a full keyboard, core i3, 4 gb ram, 320 gb HDD, HDMI port, 3 usb ports and 8 hours of battery (6 in real life unless everything is turned off), for $600. Yes, its a little thicker, but I have $400-1200 in my pocket. I fail to be impressed by…
The latest couple McSweeneys posts have been mostly unfunny. C'mon, bring the game!
@snarky30: That was terrible.
@bloknayrb: Agreed. C'mon, Android version.
@CrymeLord: Or youve made some awesome life choices, depending on your outlook :-).
@Dickeydoo: From my perspective, most of the complaining is coming from the fact that RIM released their "newest revolutionary" device, and it had the specs from early 2009 vs. mid 2010. Not so much that it's a bad phone (I can't make an opinion on that, I don't have one), but that RIM is far, far behind the game in…
@Charbs: Will still be slower than my Droid 2 probably. These are good specs, but do not compare to the new heavyweights.
That laptop is great. 6 hour battery life (advertised 8), super light, good power (especially for a super portable laptop), etc. A fantastic bargain, I highly recommend it.
@burtonbandit: I agree with/am doing everything you just said.
The new Androids are more advanced. Why go to an inferior system that requires me to have the leech known as iTunes on my computer to keep it updated/transfer contacts.
@jonknowsjon: Hahaha nice.
@MaximKat: Amen.
@jupiterfish: Yes, it's not a big deal. They'll all arrive once you get off the phone. I've been on Verizon for years, only once (once!) have I felt the need to do data and calling at the same time.
@seki: Its all about the technology. Whereas most of the world uses GSM (TDMA, Time division multiple access), two companies in the U.S. use CDMA (Code division multiple access). To spare the lecture, those two systems are not interchangeable from each other, and at minimum require different radios/chipsets. See…
