They’ll exist in promotional tweets and events like super hardcore Semi day.

I biked all over the East Side of Providence as a grad student. Didn’t have a car for two years. Quiet, leafy lined streets and lots of stop signs meant most traffic was going slow. Grocery stores in walking distance and decent buses filled in the gaps. Sometimes I took taxis. Largely the car free life was working

Thanks for sharing some of that expertise! This was really informative.

I saw a local business got a Rivian, and have seen a couple in Rhode Island. Like you I haven’t seen the new Hummer. But I have seen a couple of the Polestar BEVs.

I see a lot of the Mach-es around me in suburban Boston. Lots of EVs generally. Though I saw my first F150 lightning yesterday. It was hard to tell it was the BEV, but the light bar gave it away.

I doubt there's much value in buying it out. I would guess a bankrupt Tesla might be taken over by China and relaunched as the first global Chinese brand. With their own EV pipelines building, what value would Tesla really add?

Yes. But most manufacturers deleted green ages ago.

Tent construction?

Agreed, but you could see making an exception for automakers committed to building and sourcing under the rules. VW started making ID.4s in TN a while ago, but all the German made ID.4s lost their credit overnight when the bill was signed. Same story for the Korean automakers. A phase in can still make sense as

Back in April when Mr Musk first began his purchase of Twitter, Mr Dorsey said the 51-year-old was the “singular solution I trust” and that the South African’s takeover was “the right path...I believe it with all my heart”.

That’s founded by Jack, who 100% supported Elon buying Twitter. I’m sure BlueSky won’t get Musky at all.

Drug tests are dumb. Don’t drug test people.

I learned on a Subaru Legacy sedan. It had the amazing hill assist break that prevented you from rolling backwards as you came out of neutral. Agreed that starting and reversing are the hardest part to learn. I used to go to a long school bus turn around at night and just practice going back and forth until it was

Doesn't hurt that Ford already makes arguably the most popular ICE truck for several years running. The new hotness is built on decades of brand recognition too.

To be a global services firm you need R&D, marketing, legal, customer service, finance, and on and on and on.

My bet is they'll never make it that way. Elon will hand wave something about regulators are so mean, so now here's a Honda Ridgeline with batteries.

He's placing a political bet on government handouts. Musk is a defense contractor and Tesla has lived off credits and DOE loans for years. His ugly turn is probably a big play to lay in massive subsidies for his operations via the next admin. Bonus points as Twitter is his marketing department to keep himself in the

Wut? Really? Maybe that explains the poor reliability reputation of makers like VW. Hey, it’s only supposed to make it past the 5 year inspection anyway.

The drivers aren't employees, but they won't be free to choose their route. Sure.

Check those relevant property tax laws. They’ll ensure you pay rent indefinitely for services your locality provides.
